Larsen Learning is a Northeast Ohio firm, founded in 1996 and incorporated in 2004. It serves regional, national, and international clients. It aims to improve performance by identifying causes, developing learning solutions and measuring their effectiveness.

Bios

Principal Consultants

Mary Beth Larsen
 has more than twenty years business experience with seventeen years in performance improvement and training. She was awarded the Certified Performance Technologist designation from the International Society of Performance Improvement (ISPI) in 2003 and earned a master’s degree in Organization and Instructional Design, from Wayne State University in 1995. She has held positions as consultant, manager, and instructional designer as well as fulfilled sales, marketing and public relations responsibilities. She founded Larsen Learning in 1996 and serves as President.


Mary Beth was formerly with Electronic Data Systems (EDS), an international leader in Information Technology services where she held management, internal HR development consulting, instructional design and instructor positions within various corporate and client groups.
Mary Beth is an active member of several Cleveland, national and international associations.

Mark Larsen
 has more than twenty years experience in training and performance improvement.  He earned a Ph.D. in education from Michigan State University in 1990. He has served as senior project manager, manager, operations director, curriculum manager, trainer and teacher. He is certified as a Senior Professional Human Resource (SPHR) through the Society for Human Resources management (SHRM).

 

Mark’s previous experience includes positions as Senior Project Manager at Intellinex LLC and Manager at Ernst & Young LLP, where he managed e-learning and blended learning program development for clients in financial and professional services, health care, technology, pharmaceutical, government and manufacturing. He is a member of several local and international organizations and serves as Larsen Learning's Finance and Operations Manager.

 

Associate Consultants

Larsen Learning's highly qualified associates, include project leaders, instructional designers/writers, facilitators editors and media professionals who work in conjunction with the principal consultants. Associates are assigned according to their experience and best fit with clients.
